“Jnanasangama 2009”

Jnanasangama 2009,3rd state level students technical paper presentation competition held on 6th march 2009.Jnanasangama  09 was inaugurated at 9.30 am by Prof P.J Bhat, group director; mission development group ISRO, Bangalore &delivered keynote address on “ Chndrayana Mission ”.Sri K Rama bhat, Honorary president,governing council,VCET,Puttur presided over the function. For the competition, participants from various colleges from Karnataka, presented the paper in five branches of engineering.
           
Under computer science stream, 33members presented 18 papers from 8 colleges. Under E&C stream, 38 members presented 20 papers from 7 colleges. Under mechanical stream, 25 students presented 14 papers from 9 colleges. Under civil stream,27 students presented 16 papers from 3 colleges. Under information science stream 20 students presented 10 papers from 3 colleges.

Valedictory function held at 5.30pm.Dr U.C Niranjan, director research & training , Manipal Dot-Net, manipal was chief guest for the function & Prof P R Karanth, correspondence, VCET Puttur presedented the function.
